The Adhaalathu party has always had a proven track record of prostituting itself for cheap publicity.

But now it appears to be besting itself in its own game.

If I remember correctly, this “party” of shrill monkeys was handed power on a plate by an overly generous MDP.

The only good that came out of it is that we know for certain now that Evolution is a hoax.

Furthermore, the un-evolved primates in the Ministry of Islamic Affairs have also made abundantly clear the consequences of handing over democratic power to people who have trouble grasping the most basic concepts of democracy, rights or freedom.

The MoIA had a truly adventurous year of banning DJs, censoring websites, bringing in pedophilia-promoting ‘scholars’, revolting against its own government, trying to abuse funds for the poor to start a self-promoting  ’Fi Sabeelillahi TV”, indoctrinating the traditionally liberal Dhivehi people with their morally bankrupt, misogynist, pseudo-arab ideology..

.. and apparently, getting to do all this with total impunity has done wonders for the party’s already massively-inflated ego.

With the smugness of a Pharaoh at the end of an orgy, the Adhaalathu party has released a statement saying that it now believes that “no political party can run a government” without its support.

Erm. Excuse me?

The dairy farm called. It wants its bullshit back.

Do the mighty Sheikhs need to be reminded that their joke of a “party” is still struggling to maintain minimum membership?

O Mighty Prophets from Arabia! To give you a picture of how badly you’re doing, just understand this: You’re right there in the bottom rung along with Umar Naseer’s former party. (Most people would hang up their boots and abandon all worldly life after being compared to Umar Naseer. But somehow, you still cling on.)

To his credit, even Umar Naseer has bailed out and stopped pretending the IDP is a political party anymore.

According to Minivan News, the Adhaalathu party VP furthermore stated that “the party would cooperate with whichever major party ran the government.”

When translated, it means that the Adhaalathu party doesn’t care who it hops into bed with – as long as it gets its share of the pie.

(At this point, I’m convinced that if the Adhaalathu were an actual prostitute, you could give it a penny for sex, and it would give you change)

The MDP and DRP should both grow a pair and throw these irrelevant loons out. Now. Before they destroy this country any further.

Also, a “party” that has a grand total of ZERO elected members, and NO recorded wins in ANY election to this day, should just learn to be a little more humble and just plain shut up.
